Hoke County School System Performance Contracting

Project Description:
LL&J was selected (in 2015) as the third party reviewing arm for the first Hoke County School System (HCS) Performance Contract. As the third party, we not only performed the technical oversight, but we also guided the school system throughout the process. We were involved with the advertising of the project, selecting of the ESCO, contract bidding, project financing, oversight of implementation and installation of the various energy conservation measures, and even helped the school system promote the end results. This project is estimated to save the HCS system 4 million dollars over a 15-year life span. Another major accomplishment of this project is the anticipation of leading HCS in becoming the first all LED Lighting district in the state. This project has met and exceeded scheduling and financing milestones!
